Homework Grading Rules
- Citations: you can cite theorems, propositions, lemmas, corollaries and remarks in your textbook, but you can cite exercises only if they have been assigned as homework.
- You can omit some easy parts of your proof by saying "it is obvious that...", "it is easy to see that...", etc. (This is also a technique to keep your proof reader-friendly.) But please do not abuse them.
- Correct your mistakes and receive 50% points back. NOTICE: corrections are due right before the final exam, and it is suggested to do homework corrections in you review process. You only need to correct the parts with mistakes without redoing the whole problem.
- Some small potion of points will be awarded to a totally blank answer (at least you know you do not know) but no points will be given to a totally wrong "proof".
