Before each lecture we expect you to read the material to be covered according to the lecture plan, which is tentative and subject to change.

Prof. Fontaine will hold office hours in MLT432 from 12:00PM to 2:00PM on Wednesday and Thursday this week.
Prof. Knutson will hold office hours in MLT515 from 2-4 PM on Wednesday.

Prelim #2 is on Thursday, March 28th at 7:30pm in Rock 203. The previous 4 prelims are here: Spring 2011, Fall 2011, Spring 2012 and Fall 2012. Solutions to the first two are here: Spring 2011 and Fall 2011. Note that there are some problems dealing with material that we have not yet covered, these will not be on the prelim.

The solutions to the first prelim are posted here. Here was the grade histogram, tallied like so:
The grade boundaries are D < 48 < C < 58 < B < 70 < A. All that means is that if through some strange circumstance this prelim was the only basis for your grade, that's what letter grade you'd get.
