First prelim
- Date and time:Tuesday October 01, 7:30pm–9pm.
- Location: URH G01 (Uris Hall)
- Material: Chapter 1 sections 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 9; Chapter 2 sections 1, 2, 3.
- Prelims for practice: Fall 2010, Fall 2011, Fall 2012. Solutions: Fall 2010 solutions, Fall 2011 solutions, Fall 2012 solutions.
- For more practice problems see supplementary exercises at the end of each chapter.
- Prelim 1 and solutions.
- Prelim 1 quartiles (and approximate letter grade equivalents): Q1 71 (C+/B-); Q2 82 (B); Q3 91 (B+/A-).
- Students who scored 50 or less are considered in imminent danger of failing and should talk to their instructors (Professors Fontaine, Sen, or Pires) and to their faculty advisers.
Second prelim
- Tuesday November 05, 7:30pm–9pm.
Final exam
- Friday, December 13, 9am–11:30am.
