Generally lab assignments will be performed during recitation on Thursdays and written up to be turned in the following Thursday.
Please understand that the lab time is for doing the software part of the assignment. You should work together to create the graphs, run the stats analysis, etc, cutting and pasting results into a layout or Word document. You can print the layout or create a pdf and email any files to yourself or put them on a USB flash drive. Later on at home you can write up your answers to the rest of the questions individually to be handed in. Answers may be handwritten directly on a printout of your layout if convenient.
Caution:
"Describing a Distribution on your Labs:" Pages 49-56 of Chapter 4 give a quick introduction to shape, center, and spread. Together with unusual features, this is what you should report when asked to describe a distribution or histogram. We'll study this in greater detail later.
