Syllabus and Course Schedule

Homework Assignments: Write homework solutions carefully, using well-written English, complete sentences, adequate detail, and so on. Write your name on the first page. If an assignment requires several pages, please staple and number all pages.

Grading: Out of a total of 525 points: There will be three preliminary exams, each worth 100 points, and a final exam worth 150 points. Your section grade (homework, quizzes, e.t.c.) will count for 75 points.

Exams: Exams will be taken without the aid of your textbook. Calculators will not be allowed either. Here is the exam schedule:
