Tara's Teaching Schedule
This semester, I am teaching Math 224
(Theoretical Linear Algebra and Calculus) and a graduate course in symplectic geometry.
Here is what you need to do if I have agreed to write you a letter of recommendation.
At Cornell, I have taught:
Fall 2007
- Math 223
(Theoretical Linear Algebra and Calculus)
Spring 2007
Fall 2006
The course webpages below may have incorrect links. Peruse them
at your own peril! If you want any items from these pages and
cannot get at them, send me email. (tsh(at)math.cornell.edu)
At UConn, I taught the
following courses:
Spring 2006
- Math 374 (Algebraic topology II)
Fall 2005
While a post doc at Berkeley, I
taught:
- Math
110 (Linear algebra -- Fall 2002)
- Math 113 (Abstract algebra -- Spring 2003)
- Math 110 (Linear algebra -- Fall 2003)
As a grad student at MIT, I
taught:
During the fall of 2000 at MIT, I taught a recitation for 18.06 (Linear
Algebra).
During the fall of 2000, I also had the opportunity to be teaching
at ArsDigita University.
I taught a month-long course on Mathematics for Computer Science, in
which we covered parts of single variable calculus and basic linear
algebra. I taught rectations for Discrete Mathematics, in which we
covered some basic combinatorics, graph theory, logic, and algorithm
analysis. My thoughts on teaching at ADU are here.
During the fall of 1999, I taught a recitation of 18.01 (Single variable
calculus)
I have evaluations from my courses.
I have a teaching statement in html.
