FINAL EXAM: THE FINAL EXAM IS ON MAY 9th FROM 9:00am TO 11:30am. THE RULES ARE THE SAME AS USUAL:
                           NO TEXT, NO CALCULATORS, BUT ONE STANDARD SHEET OF PAPER (BOTH SIDES) IS ALLOWED.
                           PLEASE ARRIVE 10 MINUTES EARLY. PLEASE EMAIL RAVI AND YOUR TA IF YOU
                           HAVE A CONFLICT OR NEED EXTENDED TIME.

                           EXTENDED TIME STUDENTS: GO TO MALOTT 406 AT 8:00am ON MAY 9th.

Grading: Out of a total of 400 points: 100 per prelim, 150 for the final, 50 for homework-recitation.

Examinations: There are two prelims and a final exam. The prelims are on February 19, 2008 and April 10, 2008 at 7:30pm. The final exam is Friday, May 9, 2008 at 9:00am.
Calculators and books are not allowed at the exams. However, students may bring a single 8-1/2 x 11 sheet of paper written or typed on both sides.

Makeup Exams: No makeups are anticipated.  It is the student's responsibility to resolve any prelim or exam conflicts well in advance of the test.
Students with special needs can be accommodated by contacting their lecturers well in advance of the test.

Homework: Homework is due on Wednesday or Thursday and will include material cover on the previous Monday. Your
TA will have details Late homework will not be accepted. Your TA will instruct you where to turn in homework. Due to manpower
limitations not all homework problems will be graded. We will not announce in advance which problems will be graded.
Your homework is a document that another person has to read. TA's are not obliged to grade unreasonably messy or unstapled papers!

Academic Integrity: Each student in this course is expected to abide by the Cornell University Code of Academic Integrity. In this course, students may work alone or in groups on the homework, but are to turn in all homework individually.
