There is no physical text for this class. Cornell has purchased
electronic versions of a number of books that you can download
for free when you are logged onto the internet through Cornell.
I have not yet decided whether I will follow an etext or not.

Grading: There will be one take-home prelim worth 30%. Homework is worth 30%. The final exam worth 40%.
Examinations: The prelim will
be a take home handed out

Exams are closed book. It is the student's responsibility to resolve
any prelim or exam
conflicts well in advance of the test.
Students with special needs can be
