There is no physical text for this class. Cornell has purchased
electronic versions of a number of books that you can download
for free when you are logged onto the internet through Cornell.
We will be using "Complex Analysis in the spirit of Lipman
Birs" by Gilman, Kra and Rodriguez.

Projects: Each student will write a paper during the term. The paper will consist of learning material just beyond that covered in class and writing up a presentation of that material suitable for your peers. More details are here.

Grading: There will be one prelim worth 25%. Homework is worth 25%. The final exam worth 25%. The project is worth 25%.
Examinations: The prelim is
on March 11, 2010 in class.
The final exam is May ??, 2010 at ???am.
Exams are closed book. It is the student's responsibility to resolve
any prelim or exam
conflicts well in advance of the test.
Students with special needs can be
accommodated by contacting Ravi well in advance of the
test.
