Professor Charles Van Loan, Director of the Computer Science Master of Engineering program, will give a presentation on the Ithaca CS Meng and the various CS Masters programs at Cornell Tech as well as how to put together a strong application. Refreshments will be served.

Math Puzzle Sessions
Thursdays, 6:00pm - Malott
Come play with math puzzles, brain teasers, and problems with fellow math enthusiasts and members of the Math Club! Pizza is provided.
Putnam Practice Sessions
Wednesdays, 4:45pm
After a bit of introductory information, we'll have a practice session with some "Fun Problems." (A different collection than last year ...) This year's practices are being organized by Prof. Muscalu and Dr. Back. There will be light refreshments as usual. The exam this year is Sat Dec. 1 at 10am, so still the day after the end of our classes. We expect practices this year to follow a similar format to recent years, but not generally be copies of particular previous ones. As always, we'll try to keep the practices interesting! Trying to find out what to do after you graduate? Interested in applying to graduate school in math? Come to the 5th Floor Math Lounge in Malott on Monday, Sept. 24th for a panel discussion on the process of applying to grad school. Learn what schools look for in applicants, learn how to prepare for the application process, and ask any questions you might have about apply to grad school! Professors Reyer Sjamaar and Richard Rand will give an inside look at the process from the side of the graduate schools.
