Welcome to the Cornell Undergraduate Math Club (CUMC)! We are an
organization dedicated to making the art and science of mathematics
accessible and fun to all Cornell students and to enhance the experience
of undergraduate math study.

We organize:

> Various talks given by Cornell faculty from different departments

> Social events to promote interactions among students, faculty and alumni

> Info-sessions to keep members informed on career possibilities, on-campus
support, contests and course selection, etc.

> Annual Kieval Lectures delivered by prominent mathematicians from other
institutions.

Message from the President:

Dear Math Club members,

Welcome back to school! Our first event this semester is an information
session on summer research opportunities on Monday, Jan 28. This will be
an excellent opportunity to explore options as you plan summer activities.

We will meet at 4:30pm in the 5th floor lounge, Malott Hall. Refreshments
will be served at 4pm.
