**American Journal of Mathematics**The American Journal of Mathematics, the oldest Mathematics journal in the Americas, is published bimonthly. Founded in 1878, the journal presents pioneering research papers in the core areas of contemporary mathematics. It is published six times annually, in February, April, June, August, October, and December. [ISSN 0002-9327, paper product; ISSN 1080-6377, electronic product]

**Annals of Mathematics**(Series 1: v. 1-12, 1884-1898; Series 2: v. 1-134, 1899-1991) A distinguished journal of research papers in pure mathematics founded in 1884. Annals of Mathematics is published bimonthly with the cooperation of Princeton University and the Institute for Advanced Study.

**Bulletin of the American Mathematical Society**Published quarterly, this journal contains expository articles, book reviews, and research reports. The Bulletin is received as a privilege of most types of membership in the AMS. [ISSN 0273-0979, paper product; ISSN 1088-9485, electronic product]

**Communications on Pure and Applied Mathematics**As Cornell is a subscriber, those accessing this preprint server can register to obtain preprints from CPAM. Our institution ID is**CORNELL**. Currently, only the one domain (132.236.0.0) is sensed and permitted entry. We are working with Wiley to permit the other valid Cornell domains as well.

**Conformal Geometry and Dynamics**Provides a forum for mathematical work in related fields broadly described as conformal geometry and dynamics. These include complex dynamics--and real dynamics using complex techniques--Kleinian groups, hyperbolic geometry, Teichmuller theory, and quasiconformal mappings. [ISSN 1088-4173]

**Electronic Research Announcements of the American Mathematical Society**Electronic Research Announcements is the American Mathematical Society's first electronic-only journal. ERA-AMS publishes high quality research announcements (up to about 10 journal pages) of significant advances in all branches of mathematics. [ISSN 1079-6762]

**Employment Information and Services**This is the electronic version of*Employment Information in the Mathematical Sciences*. Provides information on available positions in the mathematical sciences. Published jointly by the AMS, MAA and SIAM. [ISSN 0163-3287]

**Inverse Problems**Combines theoretical, experimental and mathematical papers on inverse problems with numerical and practical approaches to their solution. This broad-based journal for pure and applied mathematicians and physicists will also appeal to workers in geophysics, optics, radar, acoustics, communication theory and signal processing. [ISSN: 0266-5611]

**Journal of the American Mathematical Society**contains research articles of the highest quality in all areas of pure and applied mathematics. This journal began in 1988 and is published quarterly by the American Mathematical Society.

**Mathematical Reviews**MathSciNet is a searchable database available on the World Wide Web. It is based on the data in*Mathematical Reviews*and*Current Mathematical Publications*, leading publications that catalog and review research literature in Mathematics.*MathSciNet*,*Mathematical Reviews*, and*Current Mathematical Publications*are all produced by the American Mathematical Society. (*Site also mirrored in Bielefeld, Germany and in Houston, Texas*. )

**Mathematical Tables and Other Aids to Computation**v. 1-13, 1943-1959 (continued by**Mathematics of Computation**) publishes original articles on all aspects of numerical mathematics, book reviews, mathematical tables, and technical notes. It is devoted to advances in numerical analysis, the application of computational methods, high speed calculating, and other aids to computation.

**Mathematics of Computation**v. 14-57, 1960-1991 (continues**Mathematical Tables and Other Aids to Computation**) publishes original articles on all aspects of numerical mathematics, book reviews, mathematical tables, and technical notes. It is devoted to advances in numerical analysis, the application of computational methods, high speed calculating, and other aids to computation.

**New York Journal of Mathematics**The first electronic journal of general mathematics. The papers are available from this server as dvi, postscript, and HyperTeX dvi files. [ISSN 1076-9803]

**Nonlinearity**Aimed primarily at mathematicians and physicists interested in research on nonlinear phenomena, the journal's coverage ranges from proofs of important theorems to papers presenting ideas, conjectures and numerical or physical experiments of significant physical and mathematical interest.**Nonlinearity**is a journal of the Institute of Physics and the London Mathematical Society.[ISSN: 0951-7715]

**Notices of the American Mathematical Society**Contains articles of significant interest to mathematicians. Articles on current mathematical research are particularly emphasized. The "Communications" section has reviews, letters to the editor, announcements, and other departments. [ISSN 0002-9920, paper product; ISSN 1088-9477, electronic product]

**Proceedings of the American Mathematical Society v. 1-113, 1950-1991**This monthly journal, begun in 1950, is devoted entirely to research in pure and applied mathematics, principally to the publication of original papers of moderate length. A section called Shorter Notes was established to publish very short papers of unusually elegant and polished character for which there is normally no other outlet.

**Representation Theory**A purely electronic journal devoted to research in representation theory. It seeks to maintain a high standard for exposition as well as for mathematical content. [ISSN 1088-4165]

**SIAM Online Journals**Beginning with the 1997 issues, the full text of SIAM journal articles is available in three formats: PostScript, Adobe Acrobat PDF, and DVI. Titles include:*SIAM Journal on Applied Mathematics, SIAM Journal on Computing, SIAM Journal on Control and Optimization, SIAM Journal on Discrete Mathematics, SIAM Journal on Mathematical Analysis, SIAM Journal on Matrix Analysis and Applications, SIAM Journal on Numerical Analysis, SIAM Journal on Optimization, SIAM Journal on Scientific Computing, SIAM Review, Theory of Probability and Its Applications.*Cornell IP addresses will be autodetected.
