A Few Personal Links

Alan Demlow's Personal Links

This page contains a few personal links. For starters, here's a link to my Lego® Trains Page. One of my hobbies is collecting and building Lego® trains, and this page has a bit of information about that

My wife and I are also involved in the Grad IV Christian fellowship here at Cornell. Grad IV (alternately known as Graduate Intervarsity or Grad Life Bible Studies) is a group of Cornell graduate students and other (mostly) young professionals from the area who meet for fellowship and Bible study. We also have a variety of other activities such as social events, service, and seminars on the integration of faith and learning.

My wife and I don't have a lengthy personal home page, so I'll tell you a bit more about us here. I'm a fifth-year graduate student in the math department at Cornell, and my wife Tina is a fourth-year grad student in the genetics department here. Besides the activities listed above, Tina likes to sew, and you can see one of her projects here. She made the baby quilt for our niece Nicole, who was born in March 2000. You can find some pictures of Nicole on my brother Steve's homepage. Tina and I don't have any children yet, but we do have a cat. We've shared our apartment with Helix the Cat for a couple of years now. Don't be fooled from the picture--he's no longer small and cute (although he is a very pretty cat), and he can have a bit of an attitude problem at times!
