notes on Roman Numerals                          July, MCMXCV

     ro is a translator and calculator, intended for use by
anyone who wants to practise Roman numerals. Here is a sample
session, where "ro>>" is the prompt, followed on that line by
what the user typed, and on the next line by the output:
