corrections to your Prelim 1 are due as listed on the syllabus:
after you get your Prelim 1 back you may do the following
to earn back up to half of the points you missed on 2 of the problems.
1. This is optional, you don't have to do anything.
2. Choose 2 of the 5 problems to write corrections to.
3. Do not write on the prelim booklet itself, but do hand it in with corrections on
separate paper. For each of your two problems, do items 4 and 5.
4. Identify the concept you missed, which might be the definition of a key word,
for example, or the meaning or use of some theorem.
5. Work the problem correctly. No credit for 5 without 4.
