Dear Faculty & TA's,

We have approached the time for The Nuts & Bolts Survey (student evaluations), which is a very useful (optional) tool for receiving timely feedback on teaching performance and style. If you choose to do this survey, student responses will only be seen by you. There are two options:

1. We can set up an online version of the survey on Blackboard. This is especially useful in large classes because you can view responses in tabulated form, making them easier to interpret. This survey is also left open throughout the semester, allowing students to revisit and write additional comments. If you are interested in conducting an online survey, send e-mail to Dick Furnas at ref2@cornell and cc: me (hko1@cornell). Please include what course you are teaching.

2. The hard copy version of the questionnaire is also available. A pdf is attached to this message, and I can provide you with copies upon request.
