Import a Survey into Blackboard

In the Fall of 2008, Math 1910, under Alexander Vladimirsky, introduced a series of workshops to foster collaborative learning. Students were encouraged to provide feedback on the workshops with a survey about each individual workshop.

All surveys were structured identically. Here are notes and screen shots for creating identical surveys repeatedly.

A text file was prepared with the standard set of survey questions.

Create new survey

Create the Survey in Bb:

Fill out the Survey Form:

Begin filling the Survey Canvas:

Upload Questions

Browse to the Question File:

BrowseToQuestionFile.png

Upload Successful!:

SuccessfulUpload.png

Questions are now imported:

SurveyCanvasWithImportedQuestions.png

The survey is complete:
