We will be going through Case 2: Facilitating Group Work from the Video cases for college mathematics instructor professional development by Hauk, Speer, Kung, Tasy & Hsu.
The goals of this workshop, which are outlined in the Case 2 materials, are as follows:
-Become familiar with the various ways to interact with groups.
-Understand how specific verbal and non-verbal cues shape student interactions.
-Develop a greater awareness of how the physical arrangement of students (and instructor) affects the interactions among students, and between the instructor and students.
