Quadric complexes

Quadric complexes are square complexes satisfying a certain combinatorial nonpositive curvature condition. These complexes generalize 2-dimensional CAT(0) cube complexes and may be viewed as the bisimplicial analog of systolic complexes. I will define and present some properties of quadric complexes and of groups which act on them. As time permits, I will discuss dismantlability, asphericity and other topics.
