In the past I have worked on problems in birational geometry and the resolution of singularities. I am currently studying Frobenius splittings on algebraic varieties. Specifically, I am investigating whether there is a resolution of singularities (in positive characteristic) for Frobenius split varieties. The hope is that Frobenius split varieties admit an invariant during a resolution process.
