EducationPh.D. (2005) Yale University Research Area: representation theory, algebraic combinatoricsI have been studying the representation theory of the classical groups, especially its algebro-combinatorial aspects, and connections with algebraic geometry and classical invariant theory. My current research focuses on the following two topics: toric degenerations of categorical quotients of the generalized flag varieties and their applications, including the calculation of branching multiplicities for the representation of classical groups; analysis of lattice cones related to the Littlewood-Richardson numbers, especially their geometric and combinatorial properties in relation with the representations of the classical groups.
