EducationPh.D. (1964) Princeton University Research Area: Symplectic topology/geometryFor the past few years, I have been working in the area of symplectic topology. Among my current research interests in this area are the following topics: the Flux Conjecture (recently proved by Ono), Floer homology, Novikov homology, and applications of Floer homology to the topology of symplectomorphism groups. Selected PublicationsPseudohomology and homology (Nov. 2001), 35 pp. Symplectic torus bundles and group extensions (updated Jan. 2005), 20 pp. Automorphisms of the discrete Heisenberg group (Feb. 2005), 7 pp. Last modified: October 31, 2006 |
