I intend to use part of Lehmann and Casella's book on point estimation
, Lehmann's book on Testing Hypotheses and Jim Berger's book on
Bayesian Decision theory.
Other than the traditional subjects such as point estimation, testing
hypotheses,and confidence intervals, if time allowed I may also discuss
shrinkage estimation, and permutation tests, which arises frequently in
recent applications.
