After a brief development of the basics this course will cover the following topics in general relativity: cosmological spacetimes, causal structure, asymptotically flat spacetimes, black holes and singularities, the cosmic censorship conjecture, the Cauchy problem. It will be assumed that the audience is familiar with Riemannian geometry.
