A major focus of SMI will be an advanced undergraduate course in analysis. This is a rigorous proof-based course that directly prepares students for the demands of graduate school.
Participants will also work on projects in other areas as well. The project subjects will be at the discretion of the project supervisor
We emphasize that SMI is not an REU (research experience for undergraduates) program. The primary focus of SMI is basic coursework.
